The crane is a traditional origami model which has been folded for hundreds of years. The crane stands for long life and good luck.

Since the Second World War the origami crane is recognised as a symbol for "peace".

Book now for a fun, interactive and creative workshop at the Palmerston Library during the October school holidays.

Workshops are free and bookings are essential. Strictly limited places.

Ages over 5 years are recommended. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
